Ageing Nepal

Ageing Nepal plans to celebrate the day by conducting and participating in several activities:
1. Ageing Nepal will participate in an event organized by the Ministry of Health and Population on 12th December.
2. Social media will be mobilised to share the information regarding UHC in relation to older persons.
3. A virtual programme will be organised on health issues of older persons on 13th December.
4. A geriatrician will be invited in a television programme to share the health issues of older persons. The programme will be broadcasted on 14th December.
5. A letter will be submitted to the Ministry of Health and Population urging to invest in Universal Health Coverage to meet the needs and uphold the rights of older people.
