Youth engagement
Youth voices are critical to building health systems that serve everyone. That's why we're challenging youth to get involved and drive change in their country. Follow the three steps below to get started.
1. Join the youth challenge.
Participate in the youth challenge for a chance to win a prize and be featured as a UHC champion. The UHC Day youth challenge will run between Tuesday, 6 October 2026 and Monday, 30 November 2026.
2. Attend the Youth Workshop.
This workshop on 27 October 2026 will equip you with the knowledge, skills and tools to influence policy, engage decision-makers, and lead impactful, youth-driven advocacy for UHC at the global, regional and national levels.
3. Tell your story.
If you’ve ever had to choose between health and other necessities, such as food or tuition, share your story in a short video. Publish it on social media using the hashtags #HealthCostsHurt and #UHCDay so that we can amplify!
