The barriers that continue to limit access to essential services highlight why universal health coverage is an imperative.
Chinyere has shown a strong commitment to advancing financial protection for health through a wide range of community, advocacy and capacity-building initiatives. She translates advocacy into action through community outreach with local NGOs, volunteering in primary healthcare settings, and supporting projects focused on infrastructure, vaccination and essential medicines. She prioritizes underfunded areas such as sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-responsive services, and mental health, recognizing how financial protection influences maternal outcomes and young people’s access to care.
Beyond direct service, Chinyere has led online campaigns, coordinated peer health education, developed policies, and organized community awareness programs. Through these efforts, Chinyere advances UHC by addressing financial and structural barriers and improving access to equitable care.
