2025 UHC Day Champion

Jamila Waiganjo

Community Health Promoter, Makongeni Ward, Nairobi County, Kenya

Every day in my community, I see how early information and simple guidance can change the entire course of a pregnancy or a child’s life. When women are connected to the Social Health Authority and children stay on track with their vaccines, families gain stability and confidence. For me, UHC is not a slogan - it is the quiet progress we make when each household feels seen, supported and protected.

Jamila Waiganjo, Community Health Promoter
