As a young person who was born in a country where we often saw our parents return home from the hospital without proper treatment because the government did not have enough funds to buy essential medicines—I understand how deeply health underfunding affects our communities.
Josophine focuses on adolescent health, mental health support and HIV counselling, linking young people to essential preventive and treatment services. Her community outreach reduces barriers to care and lessens the economic burden on families by promoting early, low-cost interventions.
She is pasionate about mobilizing advocates to push for increased health budget and calling on funders to support resourcing for health to ensure accsess to the medical resources we urgently need.
