Marcela Romero

President of the Association of Travestis, Transexuals and Transgender People of Argentina

Policies like the Gender Identity Law show what is possible when dignity and equality guide health reform. A universal health system must guarantee care without discrimination or pathologization—for everyone, throughout their lives.
