Digital transformation will only advance universal health coverage - inclusive of financial protection - if it is rooted in equity and human rights.
We must ensure that young people, women, and marginalized communities are not just included—but empowered to shape the digital health systems that serve them.
As CEO of Transform Health, Mathilde has been a driving force in advancing universal health coverage, by advocating, campaigning, influencing and providing technical support for digital technology and the equitable use of data to be harnessed to deliver affordable health for all in the digital age.
Under her leadership, the coalition - bringing together over 215 organizations globally - has made progress in building political will and strengthening the enabling enabling environment (laws, regulations, policies, coordination structures and resources) to ensure the digital health transformation is equitable, inclusive and sustainable. This includes mobilizing and empowering young people, women and marginalized communities - putting people and rights at the centre and ensuring that no one is left behind.
