Universal health coverage (UHC) is built through the daily work that ensures no child and no pregnant woman is denied care because they cannot pay. By strengthening free, quality primary health care and closely following every patient who needs support, we turn UHC from a promise into a reality for the communities we serve.
Mohamed is a young district pharmacist based at the Integrate Health office in Kouroussa. Beyond this role, he provides considerable support for universal health coverage through the programmatic pillar focusing on free healthcare within Integrate Health, whose mission is to provide access to quality primary healthcare without financial constraints. He verifies all invoices for children under five and pregnant women after a clinical mentor's review. He is also the person designated by the program manager to follow up on children referred to the Kouroussa hospital.
