By making research accessible - you can actively shape health systems . Evidence-informed advocacy is key to building accountable, equitable pathways toward universal health coverage.
Mohamed has spent six years advancing evidence-based advocacy and building research capacity across local, national, and international levels. He focuses on empowering youth to contribute to health systems through accessible research and exchange opportunities. He has supported research literacy efforts, developed training resources, and ensured that students from underrepresented backgrounds gain skills to generate and apply evidence in policy and practice.
His advocacy underscores the role of research in advancing universal health coverage, from improving service quality to producing data that informs equitable resource allocation. Mohamed has contributed to discussions on research equity, health systems strengthening, and youth engagement, representing IFMSA at forums including WFUMB, WFME, and the IFMSA Youth Pre-WHA. Through his leadership, he strengthens youth participation in decision-making and promotes integrating research into UHC-focused reforms.
