The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe called after its fall session in October 2025 on Council of Europe's Member States to ensure equitable, affordable and quality access to physical and mental health care, especially for people in vulnerable situations. With a resolution, they recommended to make UHC a national political priority, allocating an adequate budget for its achievement. They also recommended the Council of Europe to join UHC2030, which has been confirmed through an exchange of letters between the Council of Europe's Secretary General and WHO's Director General.
